Action Platformer 20XX Aims for July Launch
Batterystaple Games and Fire Hose Games have announced this week that their action platformer, 20XX, will be releasing on consoles in July.
Some of you may be having a sudden wave of déjà vu, as 20XX has actually been available on Steam since 2014. It'll be the first time it has made its way off PC since then, arriving on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
It is a little different from its other side-scrolling platforming brethren, as it features procedurally-built stages, meaning spending 20 minutes trying to get past that one section where you keep getting killed by some stupid sphinx blowing flames at you are a thing of the past...or am I getting confused with Super Mario Land...
Every time you play, you will be greeted with different stages, and there are daily challenges too to keep you occupied. Co-op multiplayer, offline and online, rounds out the game nicely.
Give the trailer above a watch to see if it earns a place on your release calendar. If it does, be sure to mark off 10th July for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4, or 11th July for Xbox One.
