Agent 47 Story Revealed In New Trailer, Beta Testing Dates Set

Many have been waiting for the next title in the Hitman series for a while, and it's finally getting close. So close that Square Enix is now allowing pre-orders for the game to be accepted starting today.

A new trailer was also released to whet our appetite a little bit. Titled World of Assassination, the studio describes the video as: "The world of assassination is a place of hidden violence, secret deals and bloody murder. It is the world where agencies such as the ICA work in the shadows to bring balance - it is the setting for past, present and future Hitman games."

Those who pre-order Hitman will receive the the Requiem Legacy white suite, Blood Money shirt, tie and gloves, silenced ICA-19 chrome and white rubber duck explosive inspired by Hitman: Blood Money dubbed the REQUIEM pack.

Exclusive to those who pre-order for the PlayStation 4 console will obtain The Sarajevo Six. This pack contains six bonus contracts. one of which will be released with each location and sees Agent 47 travel the world in pursuit of six former members of a paramilitary unit called CICADA in this self-contained side-story.

Hitman will be available on 11 March worldwide for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. Players will gain access to the Hitman beta on the PS4 from the 12th till the 14th February and a week later on the 19th till the 21st for Windows PC. Pre-ordering the Full Experience or the Intro Pack will guarantee access to the beta.
