Apex Legends War Games Event Trailer

With Season 8 of the battle royale epic Apex Legends coming to a close, Respawn Entertainment has announced details regarding the War Games event, a two-week period in which five brand new Limited Time Modes (LTMs) will be in rotation, alongside a reward track with challenges and new cosmetics. Starting on 13th April and running until 27th April 2021, the LTMs in rotation will be:

• Second Chance, in which Legends have one-time instant respawn that brings them back into a match with all their equipment after they die.
• Ultra Zones, where each game will have multiple Hot Zones for 3x the amount of high-tier loot. These Hot Zones will also be encased in Flash Points, a bubble that regenerates health and shields after a brief period within them.
• Auto Banners, a minor change to the standard gameplay that makes all banners (the way to respawn dead teammates) be automatically collected, rather than having to loot them.
• Killing Time, a mode where the round timer decreases with each legend that dies. If a certain round is a bloodbath, the ring will close astronomically faster than normal, making it vital to always keep an eye on it.
• Armour Regen, a mode where armour will regenerate on all Legends after a brief period of time where they take no damage.
