Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers Demo Launches on Steam

A playable demo for upcoming rom-com visual novel Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers has released on Steam, prior to the game's launch on PC and consoles in early 2022. The demo, which features a segment of the game's first chapter, marks the first time players have been able to get their hands on the title since it was announced back in June 2020.

Set in an alternate version of reality in which the videogame crash of 1983 never occurred, Arcade Spirits introduces players to a world in which gaming culture is vastly different to the one we know today. It's in this high-stakes alternate eSports world in which players will make create a character, make choices, forge relationships and conquer the competitive gaming scene. Choices made in the original Arcade Spirits are able to be transferred over, although the option to start fresh is also available.

Arcade Spirits: The New Challengers launches in early 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch and PC. The demo is available now via Steam.
