After months of speculation, Ubisoft finally confirmed that the next installment of the popular open-world throat-slitting simulator, Assassin's Creed, will be Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, and it will be set in Ancient Greece as is evidenced by the timely 300 reference in the teaser trailer.

Little else is known about the game other than that they're expected to give more information at E3, which is set to start in about a week. Ubisoft specifically has conferences scheduled on Monday, so keep an eye on GameGrin for that and other coverage straight from E3.
