Announced earlier this week, the tweet states that the company will be working alongside Fox & Practical magic as well as confirmation that the experience will be based on the Michael Fassbender film, set for release in December of this year.
While details on the movie and therefore the VR experience are still scarce, what we do know is that it is set in 15th Century Spain and will also feature a modern day hero.
Assassin's Creed as a AAA series is set to take a 12-month hiatus this year, with the next addition set for release in 2017, yet in a year with no additions, we've still had; Assassin's Creed Chronicles India & Russia, Assassin’s Creed Identity and now this VR experience.
