ASUS Announces Zenfone 12 Ultra

ASUS has revealed their latest handset, the Zenfone 12 Ultra, bringing with it a whole host of on-device and cloud-based AI tools, as well as powerful cameras.

Under the 220g, 163.8 x 77.0 x 8.9mm hood, so to speak, it has up to 16GB of RAM, 512 GB of memory, and a 5,500mAh battery. The display is 6.78" FHD+ (2400x1080 pixels) SAMSUNG Flexible AMOLED, and the processor is a Qualcomma Snapdragon 8 Elite Mobile Platform.

The cameras on the rear are 50 MP main camera with Sony Lytia 700, a 13 MP ultrawide-angle camera, and a 32 MP telephoto camera. On the front is a 32 MP RGBW sensor.

The AI tools available for the cameras are: AI Tracking, AI Portrait Video 2.0, and AI Voice Clarity, to ensure clean and clear photos and videos. It also has AI Magic Fill, AI Unblur, and AI Panning Shot.

But that's not all, as there are other AI tools available, even while your device is offline. AI Transcript 2.0, AI Article Summary, AI Document Summary, AI Call Translator 2.0, and Circle to Search. You will also be able to use the integrated Meta Llama 3 8B language model.

The Zenfone 12 Ultra will be available in Sage Green, Ebony Black or Sakura White, priced at €1,099.99 (with UK pricing to be confirmed).
