Atlas Reactor Goes Free to Play
Atlas Reactor is now a free-to-play game. In a statement released on their website, developer Trion Worlds announced how the new model was set to work, as well as the exciting changes coming alongside the move.
Firstly, players will earn a new currency in-game called Flux. Flux can be used to unlock Freelancers, Mod Tokens, Master Skins and additional loadout slots. You'll also be able to buy individual Freelancers for a real world price ranging from $2.99 to $7.49.
A “Thank You” package has also been created in order to reward players who purchased the game prior to the change to this free-to-play model as well. Those who have been playing already will receive the following content:
1) 50,000 Flux – Enough to purchase 2 Master Skins!
2) 5000 ISO
3) Exclusive Overcon
4) Exclusive Emblem
5) Exclusive Title: “Guardian of Atlas”
6) 5 Snowmageddon loot matrices
7) 5 Holo-Haunt loot matrices
In a statement, the team said "We’re incredibly appreciative of your support you all have shown this game and the team behind it, not to mention just how fantastic you are to each other! Going fully free to play makes Atlas Reactor a more accessible game, so we’ve also updated our tutorial to help new players get up to speed faster. We’re dedicated to bringing this community a fun, and deeply satisfying strategic experience."
