Atomic Heart Has Officially Surpassed 10 Million Players Globally

Mundfish has announced that Atomic Heart, as of May 2025, has reached 10 million players across all platforms since it's February 2023 launch.

You're probably wondering why this matters, but this is what it means. For you see, Atomic Heart was a breakout AAA debut from an unknown studio, becoming the most discussed PC game of H1 2020, according to the statistics on Metacritic.

Having set a new bar for both visual and cinematic quality in first-person shooters, Mundfish has proved that new studios can create an original franchise in a known IP dominated industry.

With a blend of retro-futurism, narrative choices designed to provoke, and a unique genre-bending identity that was helped by the strong art choices, Atomic Heart has managed to stand out. It was recognised by BAFTA, and even earned over 60 "Best of the Year" nominations from critics, and successfully won the Steam Award for Outstanding Visual Style and Hollywood Music in Media Award.

Since then, the Atomic Heart universe expanded with three major story-driven DLCs, with a final one currently in the works.

It's hard not to celebrate seeing how Atomic Heart has managed to accomplish so much in the two years since it launched. If you want, you can check it out now on PC and consoles.
