An all-out war seems inevitable, with World of Warcraft's newest expansion Battle for Azeroth dropping soon. In preparation, there has been a pre-patch which lays the groundwork for the upcoming expansion. Alongside significant changes to many of the classes and cross-realm Communities, the patch enables War Mode. This toggle option - available from Orgrimmar or Stormwind - allows players to enter world PvP against other like-minded adventurers, even on PvE servers. This new mode additionally brings a plethora of changes to PvP talents and the Honor system.
In the weeks following the patch's release, a series of quests will show players the events leading up to the expansion, which launches on the 14th August 2018.
