Battlefield 1 Reveal Trailer

During a long-winded livestream on the Battlefield channel, it's been made official. DICE and EA have revealed Battlefield 1, the newest entry in the long running franchise.

Unlike the steady monotony of other modern or future warfare shooters, DICE have delved into a part of history very rarely seen in video games, World War 1. The reveal trailer above, which is in-engine by the way, gives us some glimpses of the next Battlefield experience. Taking placing in variety of different locations from urban combat in a ruined French city, combat in the skies through the Italian Alps and warfare on foot or in a tank in the blistering heat of Arabian desert. It truly is all-out war and it's set to make Battlefield 1 something fresh and original.

No real gameplay as of yet, but as you'd expect with all other Battlefield entries: it'll be 64 players, large open-scaled maps, destruction and more.

Battlefield 1 is coming October 21st, 2016 for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

I can't wait to get into a tank and then die from the carbon monoxide poisoning or mustard gas some people and commit a few war crimes to get my K/D up.

Ah well then, It appears my friends have already started to fear the concept of a large choice of melee weapons..

Level 25 on BF3 with over 200 melee kills, I think they have a reason to fear. Just ask VodkaV >:3
