Black Desert Online Beta Update Reveals Cash Shop

Pearly Abyss have released their latest changes to the beta of Black Desert Online, their upcoming high fantasy sandbox MMO. The latest update brings with it a whole host of new features, and the main one is the much-requested cash shop. In it, players are able to buy housing, horses, pets and storage amongst other items. A large number of support items like potions, skill resets and EXP boosters are also available for purchase. 

Alongside this, a more robust karma system for PvP has been implemented, making small-scale PvP more viable. It works based on a bounty system where players can set a bounty level on another player that they feel needs to feel the cold steel of a blade on their face. 

Other announcements included the first reveal of the voice acting, a teaser of a new cinematic intro coming soon and an adjustment to the learning curve of the game for new players.
