Black Desert Online Releasing On Steam

Following its online debut in 2016, developer Pearl Abyss, has revealed that their popular MMO title, Black Desert Online will be debuting on Steam in May 2017.

Having a significant impact on the MMO genre in 2016, Black Desert Online will finally debut on Steam on 24th May, allowing players to access the fantasy lands of the Republic of Calpheon and the Kingdom of Valencia without having to access separate servers to those who downloaded the game via the official site. However, due to its separate launcher, the game will require players to create a new account as well as characters, resulting in their old account becoming obsolete if they decide to switch to the game's Steam counterpart, likely deterring some players from the change.

Black Desert Online is slated to debut on 24th May 2017 at an as yet unannounced price.
