Call of Duty: WWII to Get Divisions Overhaul

Call of Duty: WWII to Get Divisions Overhaul

Sledgehammer Games is overhauling the way Divisions work in Call of Duty: WWII. Speaking in a video uploaded to the official website, designer Greg Reisdorf detailed upcoming changes to the game's multiplayer.

While the classes were originally designed with weapon-specific upgrades - such as the rifle bayonet or SMG suppressor - Reisdorf mentioned that all attachments will be available regardless of the selected division. As a supplement to this, all classes will gain an additional primary attachment slot as well as a slower, but unlimited, sprint.

Sledgehammer has also tweaked or removed several Basic Training perks, as well as the ability to carry both a lethal and tactical grenade.

Overall, Sledgehammer Games is hoping these changes will add further versatility to the game's loadout system and ultimately allow players to hone their playstyle to however they like. The full patch notes can be read here.
