Capcom Tease Exciting Announcement on Twitter

Capcom have been on a bit of a roll recently, with the releases of beloved titles such as the Resident Evil 2 remake and the long awaited Devil May Cry 5. It looks like fans of Capcom might be in for yet another treat tomorrow, with the official UK Twitter account teasing an upcoming announcement.

The Tweet reads “A new challenger appears. Tune in for a special announcement tomorrow”, and includes a short teaser video which features distorted gameplay of classic Capcom titles. If it sounds cryptic, that’s because it is. Could this be some kind of compilation collection of a variety of different games, or a new instalment in an old franchise?

Back in December, producer Jun Takeuchi hinted at a new project, stating “we’re currently working on a title that will make our fans think, ‘wow, they’re making that?’” It’s possible that this mysterious new project is the same one that Capcom are currently teasing on Twitter. The announcement is dropping tomorrow at 3pm GMT.
