Catan VR Announced

Catan VR has been announced in a fairly heartfelt trailer and will make you smile.

Though there is no gameplay included in the trailer, it covers a bit of the history of the product along with giving a look into the thought process that went into this next instalment. The much loved board game will be getting the VR treatment later this year and will be released around the holiday season.

Said to allow players to experience the board game in a fully-immersive format, where the game board is beautifully brought to life. The game will also included cross-play functionality. 

Catan VR is being created by Catan GmbH, Catan Studio, Asmodee Digital and Experience 7. It will be available on the Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR with additional VR platforms to follow in future.
