Check Out Kibu’s First-Ever Gameplay Reveal Trailer!

Developed by Studio Inkyfox and published by Future Friends Games, Kibu is an upcoming atmospheric adventure where players will set out to find wisdom in the heart of nature. As they explore the world, they'll collect various treasures and help fix up their home — an old, ruined temple.

The game was revealed back in 2023 during the Wholesome Direct, and although there hasn't been much news about it, the developer recently posted on Steam about why they've been absent. In it, Jonas Manke (the dev), talks a bit about how their other game Omno garnered unexpected success and caused them to become overwhelmed. Due to this, they took a step back from the limelight and focused on Kibu, and after having a product ready for exposure through demos, they realised that it wasn't what they had envisioned.

Studio Inkyfox then apologised to the community for the silence and shared the very first glimpse of gameplay through the brand new trailer! While the game's gameplay aspect — such as the inventory system and need management — had been the focus throughout these last months, they've turned their attention back to what they really wanted from it: the beauty of the in-game world.
