Crimson Days is Returning in Destiny 2

Destiny 2 players can look forward to sharing some love as the two-versus-two Crucible mode is returning once more.

For those unfamiliar with the Crimson Day event, this mode sees two teams of tea enter into an intense battle where working together is the key to victory. Staying close to your partner will recharge your abilities but stray to far, and your enemies will be made aware of your location. Matchmaking will be available for this event as well. The map this time will be The Burnout, a new take of The Burning Shrine map set in the future timeline where the Vex won.

Most important of course are the rewards and during Crimson Day players will be able to earn some rather cute ones which you can preview in the below gif.

Additionally there will be five other rewards available for players to earn by completing the following milestones:

  • Complete the milestone “Welcome to Crimson Days” by finishing five Crimson Days matches and visiting Lord Shaxx in the Tower to earn the Fire of the Crimson Days Emblem and the Tirastrella Ghost Shell.
  • Complete matches in the Crimson Days Crucible playlist for a chance to earn the Undeterred Exotic Sparrow.
  • Complete either the Leviathan Raid or the Raid Lair: Eater of Worlds to claim the Dieselpunk Exotic Ornament for Wardcliff Coil from the final chest.
  • Complete the Nightfall Strike during the Crimson Days event to earn the Flaunting Dance Emote.

The event will be starting on 13th February and run for one week. To take part you will need to be at the level cap for your Guardian (level 25 if you own Expansion 1 and level 20 if you don't own it) so get some experience if you are not already at the level cap.

Destiny 2  and it's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, are available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The game even has a free trial now as well.
