Cross-Platform for PC and Xbox One Comes to Rocket League

Cross-platform play has finally arrived for Xbox One gamers. You guys can now finally experience the rocket powered football madness of Rocket League alongside PC gamers. 

With an update now available, the along-waited PC and Xbox One cross-play has arrived. For PC players of Rocket League it's not a first, as it's been supported on PlayStation 4 and PC cross-play since its launch. It is however, the first Xbox One title to support cross-play between the two platforms. 

Beyond that, Microsoft even wanted to have shared support across all three platforms, but this looks unlikely as Sony's response wasn't very enthusiastic. They stated before it wasn't in their best interests and they'd rather focus on PC and PlayStation cross-play for their other titles.

Nonetheless, Xbox One gamers rejoice. You'll be getting more gamers to play with. Of course, if your a spoilsport and you don't like it, you can always turn cross-play off.
