Cyberpunk 2077’s Photo Mode, Cybernetically Enhanced

Developer CD Projekt Red released a trailer a week before Cyberpunk 2077 releases, detailing the game's highly flexible Photo Mode.

The trailer demonstrates a typical Night City shootout before the player switches from the game to the Photo Mode, pausing all action to tweaking the camera’s settings, flipping through filters, and adjusting the player character distance from the screen.

It’s especially noteworthy as the level of customisation that comes built-in is extremely detailed (as is much that has been teased of the game so far). Primarily, the ability to manipulate protagonist V with various stances and expressions as well as the being able to rotate and move your character within the scene.

Some recognisable poses as seen in the video include references to Dark Souls’ “Praise the Sun” Solaire of Astora, Sailor Moon, Run the Jewels’ Gun & Fist hand sign, and James Bond.

Considering that Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person game, this seems to justify the almost absurd amount of customisation options provided.

Prepare to see your feed to fill up with some spectacular photography in Cyberpunk 2077 on December 10th, 2020 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Windows PC, and Google Stadia.
