Dauntless Details Epic Plans Alongside Hunt Pass Season Two Details

Phoenix Labs have detailed some initial information regarding the move to the Epic Games Store ahead of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One releases of Dauntless this April. This migration for current PC players is the first big step towards Phoenix Labs implementing cross-play across all platforms, including these initial platforms along with mobile and Nintendo Switch later in the year.

Similar to Epic's own Fortnite Battle Royale, this will include cross-progression so you can play anywhere and keep your adventures no matter the platform. In the coming months PC players who currently play via Dauntless' own launcher will have to link their accounts to an Epic Account and play via that client.

Phoenix Labs also launched their second Hunt Pass, themed around Valentine's Day. As has become the norm, Hunt Pass Season Two includes both a free Basic track and an Elite track that will set you back 1,000 platinum. Each track consists of 50 levels and contains a variety of rewards, everything from platinum itself to unique transmogs and more.

Based on feedback from Season One, they've increased the amount of experience from taking part in the Hunt, boosting the amount of experience from breaking Behemoth parts. Hopefully making it easier to progress through those ranks.

Dauntless is free to play and is out now on PC. It's due for release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in April with a Nintendo Switch release later in 2019. You can find more information on the Epic Game Store migration here.
