Dead by Daylight Reveals Chapter 26, Forged in Fog

Behaviour Interactive has announced the 26th Chapter of Dead by Daylight, entitled “Forged in Fog”. This chapter takes us to a distant era of swords and knights. Yep Dead by Daylight is going medieval on its players.

This theme is uncharted territory in our universe, bringing these two concepts to life has been thrilling and I am very proud of what we’ve accomplished.

Forged in Fog will add a new map called The Shattered Square (a battle-scarred village) as well as one new Killer (The Knight), and one new Survivor (Vittorio Toscano).

Tarhos Kovács (The Knight) is a battle-hardened master of weapons, but perhaps more intimidating are his followers: The Carnifex, The Assassin, and The Jailer. While playing as this new Killer you (the player) will gain access to the Guardia Compagnia ability. This will allow the Knight to summon his guards to patrol along a created path. These AI guards will be able to damage Pallets and Generators. If they spot a Survivor they will pursue them for a finite amount of time or disappear once enough damage has been done to their intended target. Survivors will need to stay clear of them as well as be mindful of The Knight's whereabouts.

Vittorio Toscano (Keeper of the Arcane Secrets) is a nobleman, but more than that, he is an idealist and a scholar. Toscano is guided by a desire for order, harmony, and peace. It is perhaps to this end that he is obsessed with knowledge, in particular the secrets to travelling between planes of existence. At some point he hired Tarhos Kovács to protect him during an expedition, but once The Knights goals for conquest and dominion became apparent things seemed to sour between them. Dave Richard explains.

Chapter 26 “Forged in Fog” will be available on the 22nd of November 2022, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox X|S, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
