December's Game Pass Lineup Doesn't Disappoint

Xbox is doing its best to embody the season of giving, at least if December's Game Pass offerings are anything to go by! As well as a handful of new achievement-based quests to complete (with Microsoft Rewards points up for grabs) and seasonal events for Game Pass titles, the following new games will be coming to the service at roughly the same time:

17th December

Untitled Goose Game

Yes indeed, the beloved goose 'em up that took the gaming world by storm is now on available for Game Pass subscribers at no extra charge. As part of the ID@Xbox scheme, Untitled Goose Game is simultaneously launching on Xbox One and being made available on Game Pass; it's yet another new release for subscribers to enjoy!

19th December

Life is Strange 2 Ep.5

The final episode of Dontnod Entertainment's story-based sequel brings the tale of Sean and Daniel to a close. Players following the game from the start will finally see a return on their emotional investment, and those waiting for a completed experience before jumping in need wait no longer: Life is Strange 2 is complete.

Pillars of Eternity: Complete Edition

Yet another ID@Xbox release, although this one has admittedly been out for some time. Bringing a sprawling, tactical PC RPG to consoles is no easy feat but Obsidian Entertainment has kept up their stellar reputation by knocking it out of the park with Pillars of Eternity on Xbox One. Featuring award-winning writing, an intricately designed world to get immersed in and all of the previous version's DLC. This is one game RPG fanatics should be sure to check out.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

This game set a new standard for AAA RPGs with its compelling writing; a sense of real, tangible impact on the world; as well as an ability to bring both quality and quantity to its side-content. It helps to have played the previous entries in the series but it's certainly not essential to enjoy this game. If you like RPGs, stop wasting time and play this; if you don't like RPGs, no game stands a chance at changing your mind like The Witcher 3.
