Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris has only just released and already there is a weapon causing some trouble for players.
One of the new exotic weapons, the Prometheus Lens, is currently overpowered to the point that players are saying it is breaking the game's PvP mode. The gun is a trace rifle that fires a continues laser which comes with impressive range and stability. At the moment the gun is ripping through players in a matter of seconds with next to no time to respond. This has however been noted by Bungie and confirmed that there is indeed a bug with this weapon.
Prometheus Lens shipped with a bug. We’ll address the issue and talk solutions in ‘This Week At Bungie’ on the blog.— DeeJ (@DeeJ_BNG) December 6, 2017
Currently the games PvP mode is filled with players battling it out with the Prometheus Lens, making it hard for some people to even play. Though no word on a fix is confirmed just yet it is good to see that Bungie are aware of the issue.
Destiny 2 and it's first expansion, Curse of Osiris, are available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
