Developer Kwalee Donating Profits to Tackle UK Child Food Poverty
Developer Kwalee has revealed on its public blog that, this week, it is donating all profits from its popular mobile game Teacher Simulator to FareShare, a charity fighting to end food poverty for children in the UK.
Inspired by Marcus Rashford's campaigning for free school meals in association with FareShare, the Kwalee team were inspired to help support the charity's fantastic efforts. This week, until the 10th January, all proceeds from in-app purchases or adverts in Teacher Simulator will go directly to FareShare. David Darling, CEO of Kwalee, speaks on behalf of the company, expressing a strong belief in the work of FareShare: "now more than ever, as the country enters another testing lockdown, no child should have to go hungry."
Despite the seriousness of the issue Kwalee is supporting, Teacher Simulator is a surprisingly whimsical game. Putting players in the shoes of a teacher, they must manage, discipline, inspire and—of course—teach their students, all while keeping their classroom running as smoothly as possible.
It's a fitting game for a more than worthy cause. Teacher Simulator is available now for iOS and Android.
