DIRT 5's Latest "Features" Trailer Showcases Cars, Events, Locations and More

If you had any doubts about DIRT 5 lacking content, Codemasters will have brushed them away with its latest 'Features' trailer. It's colourful, energetic and packed full of more content than has any right in a sub-two minute trailer. Check it out above and look forward to DIRT 5 when it launches on 9th October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X launches coming later with a free digital upgrade for existing owners).

Tear up the off-road courses of Brazil, the USA, Morocco and more in larger variety of vehicles than has ever featured in a DIRT game. There are 13 distinct vehicle classes in all, and each car is fully customisable to boot.

Game modes are plentiful too, and all playable in local or online multiplayer:

Landrush – A Typical lap-based race with dynamic weather conditions to add a little 'spice'.

Rally Raid – Extreme off-road races with a focus on jumps and split-points in the course.

Ice Breaker – Careful on the brakes; this mode is exclusively for icy terrain.

Stampede – Mud, sand and grit characterise this mode with loosely defined tracks. Only the toughest vehicles may apply.

Path Finder – Rocky tracks with steep jumps necessitate more strategic driving. Putting the 'pedal to the metal' won't get you far here.

Sprint – Forget control; this is intense racing focused only on speed. Left turns only and a drifting is a must.

Ultra Cross – Traditional rallycross, but amplified. Unpredictable terrain and conditions mean you never know what to expect here.

Gymkhana – Making a return from DiRT Showdown, Gymkhana is a stunt showcase where the most stylish car in the arena will be crowned winner.

There's a lot to see and do in DIRT 5. It's shaping up to be a superb release from Codemasters.

DIRT 5 releases 9th October for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 releases will be coming later, followed by a Stadia release in early 2020.
