Disney Dreamlight Valley is Having Cloud Save Issues that Result in Loss of Progress
During the weekend, many Disney Dreamlight Valley players reported loss of progress due to the game's cloud save reverting them, even as far as two years.
To avoid issues, please select "Keep Local Save" if you've previously used the Local Save, as this will ensure the most up-to-date file is kept! Keep an eye out for the information displayed, such as Moonstones, in-game name, and Coins.
Gameloft posted on their social media urging players to contact their customer support if they believe they might've lost any progress, and according to the comments, the team has been prompt to help.
The developer also posted a link to their Trello account, where players can see any current issues and bugs, as well as their current status. At the time of writing, the cloud save issue is labelled as actively being worked on.
