Disney's Gift to Pewdiepie: A Entire Network Named "Revelmode"

One of gaming's best-known celebrities is going to take a step up into bigger entertainment. Disney has decided to give Felix Kjellberg control over his own media network where he will decide its content and merchandising.

Other YouTubers are already announced to be working with Felix, including Cinnamon Toast Ken, CutiePieMarzia, Dodger, Emma Blackery, JackSepticEye, Jelly, Kwebbelkop, and Markiplier. While he will now have his own network to manage he will also still be partnered under Maker Studios.

According to Felix in a recent press release:

“The idea of Revelmode was built from my own experiences and will aim to bring together an Avengers-like talent squad to work and grow a business together... from my perspective, Revelmode is a shift in how talent can approach a digital company and work together for a common good. Together we will focus on creating—from one-off videos to original series to gamey games to animations, music, clothes, charity drives, and more really anything that’s awesome in the eyes of the fans.”
