Dovetail Games Announces Release Date for Euro Fishing On Xbox One

After reeling in the customers on the PC, Dovetail Games are hoping to catch a few new ones with their fishing title, Euro Fishing. The indie developer are hoping to net a lot of fans with this authentic game, which they hope will have you hooked from début to fin. And if you're thinking "water lot of puns, just start talking about the game" then don't worry, we're getting to that. We shall stop baiting and talk about the game, which we reviewed on the PC earlier this year

The game has both single player and multiplayer modes, with tournament tracking and the ability to compare catches in real time. There’s also a whole host of licensed content and equipment from leading manufacturers in the world of fishing. In addition to all that, Simon Scott, the UK’s leading fish behaviour expert, has provided advice and guidance to help ensure the game delivers a completely authentic fishing experience and the fish behave how you would expect them to.

“We’re delighted to be bringing Dovetail Games Euro Fishing to fishing fans that have been waiting patiently for this title to come to Xbox One,” said Mark Greenway, Business Director at Dovetail Games. “Our physics-based Total Cast Control system has allowed us to create authentic casting and reeling, and we feel certain we’ve captured the fun, excitement and competitiveness of fishing with our multiplayer tournaments. We will be operating a ‘live’ service while we continue to develop additional experiences, new content and licenses to broaden Euro Fishing’s features. We’re confident that both seasoned fishing fans and sports gamers will find Dovetail Games Euro Fishing to be an authentic and challenging fishing experience.”
