Dragon Age: Inquisition "Enemy of Thedas" Trailer

The Inquisitor, it seems, was never part of the plan according to BioWare's latest trailer for Dragon Age: Inquisition, which has a decidedly dark bent to it.

The trailer begins with a shot of the opening of the Breach--the portal between the mortal world and the one of demons and dreams--as we're asked "Where is your Maker now?" BioWare gives us glimpses of things we've already seen: cataclysmic destruction, party members battling demons, the Inquisitor falling as the Breach's lone survivor. But it also gives us new pieces of the puzzle. We watch the Inquisitor reach out towards a glowing figure in the Breach, the party members Cole and Dorian and hear snippets about something called the Elder One, who appears to be at the centre of this whole mess.

The studio also leaves us with some less obvious hints about events to come, such as the Inquisitor's eyes glowing as they appear to attack someone. Or what looks like some hot dragon-on-dragon violence.

Dragon Age: Inquisition will hit shelves on November 18 for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.
