Dying Light gets PvP and Co-Op Workshop Tools.

Techland expanded Steam Workshop's Dying Light Dev Tools with the cooperation and player-vs-player functionalities. This free update opens up completely new creative options for players, who can now design cooperation-based scenarios and deathmatch maps. This is one of a number of updates that the company have made to the game lately as they expand the game through player created content ahead of their own expansion launching soon.

The update launches alongside PvP-focused custom map 'Don't Drown' created by RabidSquirrel, an active member of the Dying Light community. The map is set in an island and features ever-rising water levels to keep the combatants motivated. 'Don't Drown' has players explore the island and avoid zombies in search of powerful weapons which they can then use to take on one another. This is the second time that we've seen a user created map get official blessing, but judging by the plans that Techland have announced, it won't be the last.
