E3 2014: Evolve DLC & Beta First On Xbox One

Evolve, the upcoming first-person co-op shooter from the makers of Left 4 Dead, will get an exclusive Beta and DLC first on Xbox One.

We also got a glimpse of a new playable monster at Microsoft's press briefing today: it’s none other than a god-damn Cthulhu look-a-like. It appears it has a hover ability and some great looking tentacle attacks.

Also showing off what looks like a playable robot character in the support role. Other classes were on display that we’ve seen previously but with differing designs.

The assault had a hint of the TF2 Heavy about it, the Trapper was accompanied by what looked like a tame pet and the Medic had an augmented arm. This is not to mention a lot of shooting monsters in the face. 

This is a game that keeps getting better with every public showing.
