E3 2015 - Shenmue 3 Kickstarter

Shenmue 3 has been officially announced by Sony.

Appearing at their E3 press conference, series creator Yu Suzuki took to the stage and claimed that the series was in complete and that he would be launching a Kickstarter to fund the project.

The Kickstarter launched last night during the press conference, with the goal of $2,000,000 required.

As of this morning, it has already surpassed its goal.
