E3 2021: ESA Partnering with Games Media Outlets

The ESA, organiser of E3, has announced that it will be coordinating with several games media outlets to expand the offering, as well as the scope of coverage, of 2021's all-digital event. The event, which will have no physical component, will run from the 12th to 15th June and feature publisher showcases, press conferences, livestreams and more.

The current list of media partners are IGN, Future Games (comprising PC Gamer and GamesRadar), GameSpot, Polygon, IGN China and Game Bonfire. While working independently, they will coordinate with the ESA to integrate their slate of original programming, streams, interviews and coverage into the main E3 event.

The ESA is working to innovate through the trying times of the pandemic and the increasing competition of the Summer Games Fest, as well as publishers' independent announcement showcases. Stanley Pierre-Louis, President and CEO of the ESA, said: "We are focused on ensuring that E3 continues to be the most innovative and collaborative event in the video game industry." He continues, emphasising that "each media partner will be instrumental in driving E3's reach to more fans than ever before".

E3 2021 will be an all-digital event, running from the 12th to 15th June 2021.
