EA Origin Access Premier Begins Next Week on PC

EA Origin Access Premier Begins Next Week on PC

At an investor call this week, EA's CEO Andrew Wilson announced that Origin Access Premier will release next week.

The service was announced during EA Play shortly before E3 2018, which will sit alongside the standard Origin Access subscription model. Those who opt for Premier will get access to brand new games a few days before release, including Battlefield V, Madden NFL 19 and FIFA 19

The standard Origin Access level will stay at its current pricing model, and will be renamed "Basic". It will still offer Play First trials, which is the main difference between the two - Premier subscribers will have full access with no limitations to the new games added. Both levels will continue to receive a 10% discount on the Origin Store too.

Unfortunately, it appears that EA has removed the On the House service, where it gave away games for free, such as Peggle and earlier this year, Dead Space. An EA customer support representative told one Reddit user, "right now origin on the house services are closed by EA".

Origin Access Premier will cost £14.99 a month, or £89.99 a year. Origin Access Basic will remain at £3.99 a month, or £19.99 a year.
