The popular battle royale title Apex Legends from Respawn Entertainment is likely to come to mobile, if a recent EA earnings call is correct.
The title quickly became a success story overnight and continues to be one of the most popular titles around. It reached over 50 million players around two months ago and both EA and Respawn have expressed their plans to support the title long term. However, during a recent earning calls for it's fourth quarter results, EA shared some interesting news about the future of Apex Legends.
The statement in question is that EA are in "advanced negotiations" to bring Apex Legends to new regions and platforms, including a mobile version of the title for China and Korea. Similar titles such as PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and Fortnite have mobile versions which were originally aimed at the Asian market before releasing worldwide, so it's no surpise that EA would look to do the same.
At the moment though there is no details on the mobile version but EA have confirmed that Apex Legends will be at the companies EA presentation next month.
Apex Legends is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
