Elite: Dangerous Launches Powerplay Update

With the smashing trailer above only telling you about a few of the ten powers at play (see what they did there?), you may have some questions about Elite Dangerous's latest update which dropped yesterday much to everyone's surprise.

Powerplay has been in the planning stages since the Wings update arrived. Every pilot can pledge their allegiance to one of the galactic political powers and carry out tasks for rewards.

There seems to be a power for every kind of pilot - from explorers to mercenaries to miners. And yes, it is a lot to process. Thankfully reddit user Barking_Madness has put together a VERY useful guide. You can find it here on Google Spreadsheets. It will be updated as needed, as it was a little rushed due to the sudden arrival of the 1.3 update.
