Elite: Dangerous on Mac Launch Date Revealed

Frontier Developments have revealed the launch date for Elite Dangerous on Mac, as well as the system requirements.

Remember, owning it on PC automatically entitles you to the Mac version, and visa-versa!

From 12th May you can find the installer for Elite: Dangerous in your account, from Tuesday.

And the all-important system requirements:

Recommended hardware specification:

• 3.4GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 CPU
• 8GB System RAM
• NVIDIA GeForce GTX 775M with 2GB video memory OR AMD Radeon R9 M290X with 2GB video memory
• Internet connection

Minimum hardware specification:

• 2.3Ghz quad-core Intel Core i5 CPU
• 4GB System RAM
• NVIDIA GT 650M 1GB (or equivalent)
• Internet connection

Supported Operating System:

• Mac OS 10.10.x "Yosemite" (10.10.03 recommended)
