ESPN Sources Confirm Overwatch 2 Announcement at BlizzCon 2019

ESPN has confirmed the upcoming announcement of Overwatch 2 at BlizzCon this November. Reports come after the sports broadcaster obtained a BlizzCon training document and received confirmation from an unnamed BlizzCon source.

Among the rumored additions to the game is a four-player PvE story mode, new multiplayer game mode, new maps and heroes. It's believed that Overwatch 2 will be playable at BlizzCon for attendees.

This news, taken alongside the public backlash against Blizzard for its banning of a pro Hearthstone player over comments on the Hong Kong protests, should make BlizzCon worth paying attention to this year, for better or worse.

BlizzCon will run from Friday 1st November to Sunday 3rd November.
