Everything You Need to Know About Disney Dreamlight Valley's Return to Beast's Castle Update — Trailer, Characters, Launch, and More

Disney Dreamlight Valley's next update is just a few days away, as Gameloft is sharing with players an extended look at when we can expect for the update on a lengthy trailer to learn more about it. Here's everything you need to know about the free update!

The trailer has given us a bit of a look at what's coming for the update, named Return to Beast's Castle. We've known about this coming for a while, as the latest roadmap gave us a bit of a look, and a hint, at the fact that Lumière and Cogsworth would be making their appearance in the Valley.

Both characters can be found by returning to Beast's castle realm, where you'll find both of the loyal servants waiting for you to invite them to your Valley. Here, you'll be able to begin their unique friendship quests, unlock various rewards, and more!

Lumière and Cogsworth quests will let you unlock regal outfits inspired by Beauty and the Beast, including both female and male variations (seems like Gameloft hasn't completely forgotten about their male fanbase). Finish myth-busting with Lumière or help Cogsworth get the Valley in order and acquire many rewards for your troubles!

Though, if you're a fan of Belle and Beast, then you're in luck — the two's happily ever after continues with the latest Dream Bundle: Once Upon a Dance. Nab the bundle, and you'll get new, post-movie looks for both protagonists, alongside beautiful decorations to set a scene that'll rival the dancing one from the movie.

On top of acquiring cosmetics, however, both characters will also acquire unique quests, giving you the opportunity to spend some more time with both characters. Though, we still don't know what we can expect regarding the quests.

Finally, regarding the gameplay overall, you'll be able to start your journey across Return to Beast's Castle with the new Star Path theme: Witchful Thinking! Embrace the spirit of Halloween as you take on witchy looks, get beautiful indoor decorations to go alongside your Wiccan fantasy, and spruce up your Valley to fit the aesthetic.

All of this is set to launch on the 1st of October 2025!
