Everything You Need to Know About the Disney Dreamlight Valley 2025 Showcase
The Disney Dreamlight Valley Showcase 2025 has officially concluded. This annual stream gives players the opportunity to know everything that is coming up throughout the following year, offering a glimpse at what's to come in terms of free and paid content.
We checked it out — here's everything you need to know that was announced during the livestream!
The Community Voted Companion is Coming

A while back, Disney Dreamlight Valley ran a player-wise vote where everyone worked together to build the Companion they wanted to see. This included voting on the Companion's animal, colours, features, and more, and we've finally got the opportunity to check it out!
Above, you can find the picture showcasing the Companion, and we know that it's coming "soon" to the game. The actual date wasn't given, but we know that it'll be available to everyone for free. You'll need to stay tuned to the Disney Dreamlight Valley social channels for more details.
The Winter Ball Update
Arriving on the 10th of December.

Next up, we got a look at when we can expect the last free content update for 2025 to launch. The Winter Ball Update is the final item that's missing from the previous Free Content Roadmap that we were offered, and it promised to bring one of the most iconic Disney princesses to the Valley: Cinderella.
She arrives on Disney Dreamlight Valley on the 10th of December during the The Winter Ball update. The Fairy Godmother takes centre stage as Villagers will work with her to break a protective enchantment that's preventing Cinderella from arriving to the Valley.
That's not all that'll be arriving, however, as a new social feature will be joining the Valley: guilds. Dream Teams will allow players to group up with up to seven others (for a total team size of eight) to be able to work together towards completing quests and crafting tasks by exchanging materials. This comes with selecting a name, motto, and an icon to go with it!
New Free Content Roadmap
First three updates of the year.

During the section of the stream talking about free content arriving to Disney Dreamlight Valley, we got a look at the new Free Content Roadmap that awaits throughout 2026. Game Manager Guillaume mentioned that the characters shared here were made based on community feedback, sharing with us the next three updates to follow after The Winter Ball.
Here are the three content teasers we can look forward to:
- Early 2026: "Bond over spaghetti and meatballs", teasing characters from The Lady and the Tramp (likely the two titular ones).
- Spring 2026: "Discover the beauty of nature alongside a free-spirited adventurer", likely teasing Pocahontas or characters from her movie.
- Summer 2026: "Embark on a mythological adventure", which teases more characters from Hercules — it might include Philoctetes and the protagonist in one, much like Return to Beast's Castle brought Cogsworth and Lumière in one update.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch Trailer Premiere
Find the horse for you!

After moving on from the free content updates that'll be arriving toDisney Dreamlight Valley, we got the opportunity to check out what we can expect from the next expansion: Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch. The first look we got at the expansion was a trailer that showcased a lot of content.
In it, we get to see all of the characters we'll be able to interact with, alongside the new system that showcases the modular houses that you'll be able to create. Building the ranch will consist of modular sections that you can piece together, bringing something unique to life for you.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch Release Date
19th of November 2025.

It wasn't long before the team let us know when we'd be able to jump into the Wishblossom Ranch and meet new Villagers. This expansion is coming quite soon, too — on the 19th of November 2025, or about a month after the debut of the 2025 Showcase.
Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch Purchasing Options & Retirement of Previous Ones

Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch hasn't quite entered the pre-order state as of the time of the stream, but it won't be long before it becomes available. No pre-order period has been announced, though players who buy it early and log into the game will be able to acquire a unique "Springtime Festival Outfit and Festival Tack" cosmetics for both boy and girls if they purchase the game and launch it between the 19th of November and the 3rd of December.
The expansion will come in two editions: the base one and a Deluxe Edition with an outfit, a house style, and even a unique rideable companion: Sven. They will come with 5,000 and 10,000 Moonstones, respectively.
With that said, the Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale Bundle and the Disney Dreamlight Valley Enchanted Edition will be getting retired. This means that this is your last chance to get the bonus content available from Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale expansion pass, though they're not at a big discount — 30% and 35% off respectively — as a final farewell.
These will be leaving the store on the 19th of November 2025, when Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch becomes available.
Information About Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch's Expansion

During the Forgetting, Cruella de Vil took over Wishblossom Ranch, and she hasn't done a great job at keeping it the tip-top shape it used to be. Now, with the governor of the Valley returning, they'll need to team-up with other characters to bring it back to its former glory and fight back against the Wish magic that has been set loose.
Rideable mounts will be one of the main elements in the Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch expansion, as players will be able to find and befriend a slew of stallions throughout the movies. Each one will have their own unique abilities, giving you the opportunity to explore the three biomes scattered throughout the new location.
The three horses you'll be able to befriend are:
- Maximus from Tangled
- Khan from Mulan
- Pegasus from Hercules

Each one will have its own set of abilities, so you'll need to bond with them all to be able to explore every nook and cranny. They'll unlock the various biomes, with three arriving:
- Wishing Alps
- Glamour Gulch
- Pixie Acres
These locations cover a range of different styles, from snowy mountains to overgrown pixie locations and even a city itself. To help you decorate it, Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch will include modular building kits that you'll be able to create intricate buildings to your heart's content! These work similarly to the castle or greenhouse items offered in the game.
The three animal companions were also announced:

- The Wishing Alps will offer geese.
- The Glamour Gulch will have skunks
- The Pixie Acres include cute little bees waiting to befriend you.
Unlike previous expansions, Disney Dreamlight Valley: Wishblossom Ranch will be released all in one burst, meaning that you won't have to wait several months between playthroughs to be able to experience the whole story. This means that all of the four new villagers (and three to seven horses, depending on whether you count the customisable ones) will be acquirable from the get-go.
These villagers include:
- Snow White
- Tigger from Winnie the Pooh
- Tinkerbell from Peter Pan
- Cruella de Vil from The Hundred and One Dalmatians
Free Codes

Finally, there were three code drops throughout the stream to get players new items as they wait for the launch of the DLC. The three codes were:
- 2025SIGNPOST
- 2025HEADBAND
- 2025FRAMEANDMOTIFS
If you'd like to redeem the codes, follow the steps here!
