First Major Expansion For The Witcher 3 Gets A Launch Trailer

Great news for fans of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, as the first major expansion pack, called "Hearts of Stone", is launching next week. Join the awesome hero Geralt as he takes on an entirely new quest line, new monsters, a new fighting mechanic, and perhaps the most dangerous of all, a new romance.

Aside from all of the usual stuff that you'd expect from a big expansion, the most exciting addition are the Runewords. These affect the gameplay in different ways, and offer many opportunities to experiment for new strategies and tactics. It's always great when a new mechanic is added to a game, and definitely helps keep the game fresh more than a few extra quests could.

"Hearts of Stone" is set to release on October 13th, and will add over 10 hours to your Witcher 3 experience, as well as all of the content mentioned above and much more. Not that you needed any more reasons to jump back in to arguably the best RPG of the year...
