First Major Starbase Early Access Update

Having released less than two weeks ago, the space-based MMO Starbase has had a handful of small updates to fix crashes and bugs. Today, however, they've released a major update.

There are fixes to things across the board, but they've also added a safe zone between Fast Travel Gates, added UI sounds in certain menus, and given new players 1000 credits instead of zero.

The major update that they put at the top of the patch notes was interesting:

• Increased base crafting speed by 3x

So now you'll spend less time waiting for your new parts to finish crafting!

Somewhat tucked away, however, is a warning that you should log into the game with your backpack slots vacant. If you've been affected by a specific inventory stacking bug, ores that were lost to you will be put in those slots. If you lost more than two ores, just empty the backpack slots and restart the game.
