Fortnite Battle Royale Adds a Guided Missile Launcher

The extremely popular Fortnite Battle Royale has just added a guided missile launcher to its robust arsenal of weapons. The trailer above suggests that the missile automatically locks onto targets, but this isn’t quite the case. The new missile is one of the game’s most creative additions; it allows a player to control an airborne rocket for approximately 18 seconds. Guiding the missile leaves the player completely vulnerable to attack and the rocket itself can be shot down rather easily. Still, the guided missile is a rare and powerful weapon that dishes out massive damage when detonated.

Getting your hands on a guided missile launcher is a real treat, as it only spawns once or twice per match. Consider yourself skilled if you manage to defend yourself against one as well. Fortnite Battle Royale is free-to-play and currently available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android.
