gamescom 2021: Xbox Cloud Gaming on Consoles

Cloud gaming from Xbox originally launched on mobile, allowing Game Pass Ultimate subscribers to stream games directly to their Android device. That included touchscreen controls, so you didn't even need to have a Bluetooth controller. Then it launched on PC.

Now it's coming to Xbox One and Xbox X|S consoles, meaning that you won't have to download games to play them on your console.

The trailer above shows off some of the games that you'll be able to play, and Microsoft will be aiming at getting them streaming to you at 1080p, 60fps. What's more, even playing on an Xbox One S will get you the Xbox Series S experience, as it's a stream and doesn't require a powerful device.

Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will be able to play Xbox Cloud Gaming on their consoles this Winter.
