Gamespy to Close

The Gamespy matchmaking , CD-Key authentication and NAT traversal service is to close on May the 31st which will bring to an end the multiplayer functions of hundreds of games from Bohemia Interactive, EA, Ubisoft, Nintendo, Konami, Capcom and others.

Activision and Bohemia Interactive have spoken up to say that their most popular titles will nto be affected because they have either already migrated to other system like Steam or have a solution in the works.

Rockstar have already changed the titles they have that at one point used Gamespy services and Nintendo on the other hand, are going to just abandon the Wi-Fi games that use Gamespy.
