Gaming Pioneers Unveil New Studio - Fall Damage

Fall Damage is the new Swedish gaming studio based in Stockholm, Sweden. The team currently comprises of seven team members, whom all have pioneering influence and experience in the games industry.

In collaboration with Goodbye Kansas Game Invest, Fall Damage is an independent game studio with big plans for future. As said by Creative Director at Fall Damage, Markus Nyström,

We want everyone at our studio to be involved in the games we create, it’s not until then we get the opportunity to channel all of our passion into our creations. The player experience matters the most to us. Not the hardware, platform or cutting-edge tech.

Markus Nyström was one of the co-founders of DICE back in 1992. Alongside the three other founders of Fall Damage; Anders Gyllenberg, Mikael Kalms and Dan Vaderlind, they’ve had years of experience in the industry and have worked on a variety of AAA titles from the Battlefield franchise to the new Star Wars: Battlefront.

It’s a promising future for Fall Damage and with seven members so far, they plan to double their team by the end of the year.
