Genshin Impact Reveals Update 1.2 In New Trailer

Developer miHoYo have released a trailer giving players their first look at the upcoming 1.2 update for Genshin Impact, titled "The Chalk Prince and the Dragon".

This highly anticipated update will bring the first of many map expansions to the game by introducing a new location, Dragonspine. This snowy moutain will play centre stage to the story of update 1.2 while also featuring plenty to be discovered. Players can expect to face off against new Cryo enemies, which will have new loot to be earned along with numerous materials, treasure chests, and seelies to find.

One of the more interesting new features includes a new temperature system which will require players to keep their party warm in order to survive in the new snowy areas. Players will be able to take advantage of both items and their Pyro abilities in order to keep themselfs warm.

Of course, no update would be complete without new characters for players to try and earn. The two main revealed in the above trailer include Albedo, a Geo sword user and Ganyu, a Cryo bow user. Players can expection more details on these two in detail closer to the release of update 1.2.

That's not all though as players can expect a number of new events to run in the weeks that follow the release of update 1.2, serveal quality of life improvements, new summon banners, new weapons and items, and much more!
