GHOSTS is a Full-Motion Horror Experience with 'Live' Elements
Want to check out the full-motion, Night Trap-inspired action of GHOSTS? You'll have to 'tune in' at 10pm, or this time-dependent horror title, depicting the most terrifying outing of a fictional ghost-hunting TV show, won't be ready to air. That's just one of the twists which is helping Jed Shepherd's upcoming FMV horror game stand out from its spiritual predecessors like The Bunker or the aforementioned Night Trap.
Currently being kickstarted, GHOSTS—should it receive adequate funding—is scheduled to release in 2022 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. Writer and Director Jed Shepherd has already secured terrifying creature designs from horror artist Trevor Henderson, which will be brought to life by the renowned Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
The game will put players in control of a fictional TV network known as FrighTV as it airs its hit show GHOSTS. As players switch between various live camera feeds, they'll have to strike a balance between creating an entertaining show for viewers at home and keeping the show's crew of paranormal investigators safe from the Long Lady, a bone-chilling figure who has been the focus of local legends for decades.
Excited to announce that I'm making a REAL-TIME, live-action HORROR video game w/ creature design by @slimyswampghost & made by Jim Henson's Creature Shop!

While the proper faux-live version of the game will only be playable at 10pm each night, there is a "pre-watershed" version players can access before then to practise for the real thing.
GHOSTS is currently in the midst of a funding campaign on Kickstarter. It is due to release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC in 2022.
