GOG Galaxy Home to Over Half of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt PC Players

In news that must please CD Projekt Red (who own GOG.com) it has been announced that over half of the install base of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is on their GOG Galaxy platform.

It works out as 21.5 petabytes of game and bonus content delivered, 3.5 million achievements unlocked, and almost 2 combined millenia of game time spread over more than 190 countries.

Galaxy is a DRM free distribution platform that provides stat-tracking, achievements, friend lists, game backups, auto-updates, and Steam cross-play. It's currently in open beta and is freely available from GOG.com.
